 After taking Alan to the airport in Hermosillo we moved to a third ranch to do some hunting for ourselves. This ranch is flatter and brushier than our other ranches and a bit more difficult to hunt but it has good mule deer and coues. On the third day I was hunting by myself while Janet was in the high rack with Victor and Luis looking for a big buck we had seen just off the main road. I was using my grunt tube and this 27" 175 buck came in on a string looking for me. He really wasn’t as big as I wanted but finally at 30 yards I couldn’t stand it anymore and decided he was big enough. I wish I had my bow instead of my rifle.
