Neil elected to hunt Desert Mule deer with his bow. We couldn’t get him within range of a good buck but he proved to us his abilities with a bow by taking all of these rabbits in half a day with our head rabbit guide Luis. The morning after Neil left, Neil was our last hunter, we were high racking the same area Neil had hunted the day before and about a 28" 3x3 got up from its bed, looked at us long enough for us to range find it standing broadside Neil would have had a very easy shot for him at only 40 yards. I know this sounds like a story a guide would make up but this is the absolute truth. I guess that is why they always say "That’s Hunting"
